It operates on a pay-per-click (PPC) model, meaning you pay a fee every time someone clicks on your ad. Your ads can appear in Google's search results, on YouTube, and on millions of other websites across the internet that are part of the Google Display Network.

Google Ads puts your business in front of potential customers at the exact moment they are actively searching for your products or services. Unlike "interruption" advertising, you are providing a solution right when they have a problem.

You set a daily budget (e.g., £20/day), and Google will never charge you more than your monthly spending limit (your daily budget multiplied by 30.4).

While Google doesn't have a minimum, we recommend a budget that allows you to gather enough data to make smart decisions. We work with you to establish a starting budget based on your industry and goals, and then we scale what works.

Your ad spend is paid directly to Google. This is separate from our agency's management fee. We provide full transparency on this, so you always know exactly how much is going to Google and how much is our service fee.

We believe in 100% transparency. You will receive a custom, easy-to-understand report from us every month (or weekly, depending on our agreement). This report cuts through the jargon and shows you the key metrics that matter: how much you spent, what results you got etc. You will also have full, shared access to your Google Ads account at all times.

We charge a flat-rate monthly management fee based on tiers related to your ad budget. This fee covers all the work involved in researching, building, managing, and optimising your campaigns, as well as our strategy and reporting. This is separate from the ad spend that you pay directly to Google.

Keywords are the words or phrases you bid on, hoping to match what a user types into Google.

Match types control how closely a user's search query must match your keyword to trigger your ad.

• Broad Match: Shows your ad for searches related to your keyword, even if they don't contain the keyword terms (e.g., your keyword running shoes could trigger an ad for "marathon footwear").

• Phrase Match: Shows your ad for searches that include the meaning of your keyword (e.g., running shoes could match "comfortable running shoes" or "shoes for running").

• Exact Match: Shows your ad for searches that have the same meaning or intent as your keyword (e.g., running shoes would match "running shoe" but not "tennis shoes").

We use a combination of these (along with Negative Keywords) to ensure your ads are shown to the most relevant audience and to avoid wasting money on irrelevant clicks.

Quality Score is Google's rating (from 1-10) of the quality and relevance of your keywords, ads, and landing page. It's a critical factor in your ad's success.

A higher Quality Score can give you:

1. Lower Costs: You may pay less per click than a competitor, even if their bid is higher.

2. Better Ad Positions: Your ads may show up higher on the results page.

Conversion Tracking is the most important part of any Google Ads campaign. It's a piece of code we place on your website that tracks when a user completes a desired action after clicking your ad (like filling out a form, making a purchase, or calling your business).
